International Pony Club Tetrathlon

Congratulations to David Bourke who captained the Irish Team who came 2nd in San Francisco at the International Pony Club Tetrathlon. David himself achieved his personal best to date. Good luck to David when he competes in Hartbury.  

Mounted Games team at the IPC Festival

Katie Dunphy was on the winning Senior B Mounted Games team at the IPC Festival. 

The combined team of Louth/Bray/Laois were the surprise winners of this exciting competition, which is held for the teams who don't make it to the RDS. 

They played brilliantly, beating many branches who excel in mounted games.

Horse Trial Championships in Ballon

Congratulations to all who competed in Horse Trial Championships in Ballon, especially the Intermediate team of Alice Murphy, Oisin Boyd, Jen Diamond and Tori Berber who came 2nd.
Oisin Boyd came 3rd in arena B, Jennifer Diamond 4th in arena C, and Tori Berber 2nd in arena D.

The Juniors had equal success with the team of Katie Dunphy, Aoibheann Boyd, Megan Davenport, and James Green also achieving 2nd in the team competition.
Megan Davenport came 1st in arena C, and James Green 5th in arena D.

Pony Club Festival 2010, Mullingar
In the John Ledingham Show Jumping Competition, Bray Tigers team of David Bourke, Alice Murphy, Rachel Lee and Miriam Bourke received the Best Horsemanship prize.

In the Pure Dressage Championships the team of Beth Dunne, Isabel Coen, Jennifer Diamond, and Rachel Lee came 6th.

In the Junior Combined Training James Green won the Best Turnout and 2nd in the competition itself.

Sleedagh One Day Event
In Junior Arena 5, James Green came 4th, while in Under 12 Sam Micklem came 6th.

Longford One Day Event
In Members class Miriam Bourke came 2nd and Isabel Coen 4th. In Intermediate A, Tori Berber came 6th, while in Arena B Jennifer Diamond came 2nd and Oisin Boyd came 5th

Glandoran One Day Event
In Members class Miriam Bourke came 3rd, while in Intermediate B, Oisin Boyd came 5th. In Junior C Arena, James Greenn came 3rd and Katie Dunphy 4th.

Tinahely (qualifier) 18th July 2010
Winning team Pure Dressage  Isobel Coen, Jennifer Diamond, Rachel Lee and Beth Dunne. Isobel Coen got the highest score in Pure Dressage, .
The team of Tori Berber, Oisin Boyd, James Green, and Katy Dunphy came 3rd.
Individual competitions Isobel Coen came Joint 1st in Combined Training in Members.
In Intermediate Jennifer Diamond 1st, Rachel Lee 2nd, and Oisin Boyd 4th.
In Juniors James Green, came 3rd, Zoe Carroll 5th and Aoibheann Boyd Joint 6th.

Cuan Tetrathlon Challenge on 18th July 2010
More great news for a Bray member, David Bourke entered the Cuan Tetrathlon Challenge on 18th July with 3 other Irish pony club members, achieving 1st on a team basis. David achieved the 2nd highest individual score, only being pipped by Luke Klamaki who came first and who broke the new Northern Ireland record in overall points.
